The company
SERSAR is a trading company founded in 2009 with the aim of entering the European market with high-performing fluorinated polymers and plastomers able to satisfy even the most challenging needs of the moulders of finished and semi-finished products.
Its core business is the import of polymers from China. In particular, the collaboration with a major Chinese manufacturer, as well as the synergy between the companies of the network Sersar belongs to, led to the development of a wide range of products that includes the fluorinated polymers branded Eliflon , for which Sersar is the official and exclusive distributor for the European market.

THE POSSIBILITY OF INTERACTING with the manufacturer
of raw polymers, directly controlling the production in the Chinese
plant, gives to Sersar a unique competitive advantage.
The control is carried out in two different production phases:
- during Eliflon synthesis, thanks to Dott. Viola & Partners Chemical Research, one of the three companies that founded the network together with Sersar;
- before the shipment of Eliflon cargo to Europe, thanks to one of its employees working in the Chinese plant, thus ensuring that the whole process, from the production of the fluoroelastomers to their shipment, complies with the quality standards and the product specifications.

Dr. Viola & Partners Chemical Research
SERSAR has implemented its own quality control system thanks to the collaboration with the highly qualified scientific staff of Dott. Viola & Partners Chemical Research, research company which specialises in the synthesis and molecular characterization of elastomers. It provides qualified scientific support to Sersar, it verifies the quality of the raw material, directly interfacing with the Chinese manufacturer, it studies new curing systems and it tries to find new applications for fluoroelastomers, over and above the familiar ones.
Sersar and Dott. Viola work together to verify the compliance of the product with the quality specifications and to provide technical assistance to customers.
The Logistics
SERSAR directly manages all the logistics steps to supply the fluorinated polymers made in China to the European compounders, making use of a bonded warehouse in Italy, thus ensuring material on stock always available, even in case of a sudden increase in demand.

REACH
PURSUANT TO REGULATION (EC) N0 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), Sersar registers and notifies to the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) all the chemicals it imports into the European Union that are subject to this regulation.
